Today is seriously one of the best days I have had so far. I AM FEELING SO HAPPY, EXULTANT, OVERJOYED, JUBILANT, and every other synonyms for happy!!! I love today so much and it's so sad that it's ending soon. But, as quoted by Dr. Suess,

“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.” 

I'm glad that it happened and am going to write down my experience and feelings today! :) it's gonna be very long and draggy, so dont bother reading everything, this is just my own  typing/ reading pleasure.

I went back to visit my previous workplace today!! I've been wanting to do so badly and I finally decided yesterday that I was going to do so today. In fact, I was so excited that I couldn't get to sleep last night, only fell asleep at 2am.. And got up excitedly at 7am, laid on the bed for 2 hours thinking of what to bake, what to wear, who will I meet...... Got out of bed at 9am and started to BAKE!! settled on baking Nutella/ Cinnamon Brioche rolls and Raspberry Lemonade cupcakes! And I'm sure glad i did, the brioche rolls were soooo good!! I gobbled 2 down immediately upon taking them out of the oven :) By the time I finished baking, it was time to leave house. Changed immediately, packed my baked goods of "Ugly but yummy Nutella/ Cinnamon Brioche Rolls", "Raspberry Lemonade Cupcakes", and "Chocolate dipped Earl Grey tea cookies" and off I went. 

I was so excited on my way there, going through the familiar routes and finally the familiar place. had to call the office before i could get into the school. The school attendant was so shocked to see me when I greeted him. Headed to the office to greet the vice principal plus everyone else in the office, and put my baked goods there. And was off to see my N2 children immediately!! AHHH!! I was filled with excitement!! They were having storytelling so I took a peek behind the wall to look at them. I felt that they really grew up, most of them were sitting nicely and quietly while listening to an English story. they couldn't really do it before, so I was really happy to see that they improved. The next thing i knew, everyone discovered me and was surrounding me, calling my name and smiling widely at me :DDD You cannot imagine the sense of satisfaction and joy in me/... It's just indescribable, it was a little unfamiliar, yet so familiar and close. It took me some time to believe that i am not dreaming.. The feeling was incredible, out of the world awesome. I also got to watch and play musical chairs with them, and felt so proud of them as they were able to follow instructions in English and were having so much fun. Time passed so fast and it was time for them to go home.. even so, a few of them were holding my hands so tightly, calling out my name and smiling at me. A boy even cried :'( and I managed to meet a few parents :) i'm just so glad that they are growing up well and I hope to see them again soon! 

Furthermore, my ex colleagues enjoyed my baking!! The brioche rolls were the most popular amongst the three. feel so contented to see them praising my food, lol! Caught up with a few of my closer colleagues too, I love them!! 

Then at home, I cooked dinner!! Pineapple curry fried rice and roasted vegetable soup!! I'm so glad that daddy loved my cooking, because he's quite a picky eater.. LOL. and he actually had a second spoonful of my soup!! He normally hates thick and watery stuff. So, it was a good attempt.. 

14 mins to 12... Goodbye my perfect day(09 May 2013) . Counting down 11 days till school starts!!bye!!

I love cooking!

Ever since I resigned from my job as a preschool teacher, I've been staying home at home with my sister as full-time housewives!! LOL, ikr!! We've been staying home, doing housework and cooking meals. 
As such, I have loads of time to try out recipes in our new awesome house with our new awesome oven!! I really enjoy spending the ENTIRE DAY in the kitchen baking and trying out new recipes! :)

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

Hi-Five everybody, it's National Hi-Five day today! :) It is quite a meaningful day as it aims to promote awareness if cancer and it's effects. 
This week has been such a great one, have been out meeting friends and catching up with them.

Caught the movie, Don't Cry Mommy on Wednesday and I swear that it was extremely tragic :'( I could really feel for the characters in the movie.. It was so frustrating and sad at the same time! Why? WHy? WHYYY????


And today, I met up with an ex-colleague for mine.. I was so surprised that she still treated me the same way as she did while we were still working together (which was about 4 months ago?) I'm so happy for her but worried for her at the same time.. Please be well my friend!! I'll be praying and wishing for you. Stay blessed. 

Lastly, we had a video call with jie jie just now.. She's away in China now for her studies, and we miss her terribly. Wishing for the best for her as the weather conditions have been rather erratic, plus the flu disease and all... take care my dear and we'll see you soon!! <3 br="">

It is really times like this that makes me see who my true friends are and regained my faith in friendships/ relationships.... A fair-weather friend, hi-bye friend, acquaintances and many many else. I'm just so glad that I have got friends who I can count on. :)

Happy Eggs Benedict Day!!

Hi, do you know that it is Eggs Benedict Day today-16 April 2013!! Omg, it is so freaking awesome!! A perfect excuse to indulge in the sinful hollandaise sauce and eggs! Btw, i went for an interview on eggs benedict day.... Unfortunately, i do not have hight hope of success :(( it is kind of sad, but i can proudly say that i have done my best and thus, i had a great eggs benedict day. I hope that everyone had an awesome eggs benedict day, you can't possibly be worst compared to me right?? Hehe, till then, bye!! 

Jobless

It was my last day of work today.. I AM OFFICIALLY OUT OF JOB!! To be honest, I  feel a little sad to leave... it has indeed been an unforgettable and enriching year for me, I learned many things the hard way and went through plenty of good times as well. Good job, me. haha, self praising :p Anyways, it's time for a little break and it'll be time to move on..

 
I will miss the food and a few of the people there, and THE FOOD!! 
I will be good! :))
