Pasta de Hamkeke!

Heyo! It's the holidays now! Totally enjoying it now, slacking at home all day long! <3 Holidays are absolutely necessary for all of us!! This semester is really a stressful and tough one! Everyone's physically, psychologically and emotionally drained by all the school work and of course other matters. I was too, not in pink of health at the end of the semester. Therefore, holidays are totally not redundant! Not only does holidays give us opportunities to play and enjoy, it is also an opportunity for our body/ health to recuperate for the following semester! Well, although we still need to study for our exams but at least there's no deadlines or whatsoever to meet. I've been really resting during the holidays, trying to adjust my body clock back to normal. Yay, I feel so much better now :)
Before the semester ended, I invited Aisha to my house to cook! The rest of the clique couldn't make it but we promised to pack some for them to try. We decided on cooking Carbonara Pasta since Aisha loves it so much!! Met her at Clementi for ingredients shopping before we went home make the pasta. After about 30 minutes in NTUC: we got chicken ham. spaghetti, mushrooms, Preggo Carbonara sauce, sweet corn together with some tidbits for our learning journey. lol. Bused back home and started making our Hamkeke Pasta!
I was in charged of cooking the spaghetti and cooking of the sauce while Aisha was in charge of cutting up all the ingredients. I got her to cut up some garlic and onions as well. Our pasta sauce was so rich in ingredients!  Aisha actually sliced up the whole packet of chicken ham, which was about 7~8 slices. So much! haha, but she loves it, no choice. The name of the pasta was also derived from the overloading amount of ham. A whole can of mushrooms as well and a whole packet of spaghetti.
We faced some difficulties in opening the can with the can opener, but the problem was swiftly solved by yours truly. haha. Anyway, the end product tastes real good, even our classmates said so. Teehee. Was quite confident alr as I always make Spaghetti at home, the recipe was from my sister!
