A trip back into time...

Hello! It's 101010 today! LOL. Feeling nostalgic suddenly... don't we have some memories in us that we wish we could go back to.. It may be anything that holds the memory, a place, an object, food, scent or phrase etc.. Recently, my sister and I revisited some places which brought back many memories during our primary school years. It was a trip to WEST COAST! It was my forgetfulness that led to the trip, did not planned for it to happen. hehe. Had Thai Express for dinner in West Coast Plaza after settling my "forgotten matter". Ordered a set meal which I thought was pretty worth the price and nice.. A main course with desert and appetizer: Pineapple rice, sticky sweet tapioca and fried tofu with chili sauce. Mei ordered a fried kway tiao and a watermelon drink. Camwhored a lil while waiting for the food to come.. :))

Mei suggested that we walk home after the scrumptious dinner to lose some calories :p No doubt, i agreed to it immediately, and this is where our start our journey back into time.. We started by walking through familiar roads and literally admiring at the surrounding buildings, discussing and talking about how different/ similar they look from the past. We were strolling really slowly and leisurely, while we thought about the times we had in these places. The first memorable place we the road leading to our primary school, the shops nearby and the quiet alley that had not changed one bit.. However, it was a pity that we could not recall much about the times in our primary school as the building was a totally foreign building from our memory. The school merged with another primary school and they decided to renovate the school beyond recognition from the old building. Boo.. Okay, right, continuing our journey back home.. Past a park and we decided to go visit the condominium that we used to reside in, it was sold off and rebuilt into a new condominium now. While making our way there pass road and house, we spotted the house which used to be a childcare centre we attended in the past. (Before/ After school care) It was again, no longer there, wonder if it has ceased operation or just moved away to a better location.. Yes, we detest the childcare centre, the teachers were not really good but we would make fun/ badmouth them behind their backs XD. OMG, i'm gonna be a childcare teacher too, will my students do that to me?! Proceeded to walking to our condominium, had the intention to enter and explore the condominium, but the idea was off cos of the scary looking security guard uncle.. We used to be quite close to the security guards in our old condo in the past, where we were still KIDS.. We had many neighbors/ classmates/ playmates in the condo where we used to play together. Catching at night, participated in mid autumn festival events by the condo committee together, visiting each other's pets etc.. haha, those were the times... Time really flies, these were almost 10 years ago.. sigh.. 

Finally, we decided to go home as it was getting late. Our journey back to time ended, back to present and future. It was a really pleasant experience, to recall about good times in the past, It is impossible for us to go back into time, however, the valuable memories will always be in our minds and hearts :)) Backtrack to Friday: Met a few of my classmates from secondary school coincidentally while lining up for Koi bubble tea for my sister. hehe, it was a nice to see them again. Talked only a bit as they were all obsessed in playing with their game. What's new? Guys... Great to know that they hasn't really changed much.. :)) I guess memories are really worth treasuring and keeping as they are intangible assets that no one can take away from you. <3
