As you have noticed, I have changed my blogskin!! It's a new template blogskin, so i do not really know how to edit/ customize it. Will see what i can do, for now, please bear with it. Thank you!
Went on a date with Brenda the other day after school ended early!! we had been planning the trip since the day before, and i was totally excited for it. We planned to go Clark Quay for Sticky candies, Bak ku teh and Japanese Snacks and Christmas shopping at Bugis, ! All dressed and ready, we set off to our first destination: Clark Quay! First up was Lunch as we were famished!! went to this Bak Ku Teh shop recommended by Brenda :) Oh boy, the soup was soo good!! not too peppery and flavorful with the sweetness from the pork ribs, i like. We ordered 1 set to share as the soup was refillable, yes, unlimited times! We got the waiter to refill it 4 times at least. LOL. However, i feel that the service is really bad, the waiters/ waitresses serve us as if we owe them money. Service was slow too, so much for the 7% service charge we paid...

Walked around Central for Sticky candies and Japanese Snacks. Brenda was so lucky, she got the last packet of Santa's Mix for Christmas. It made her real pleased. hehe. But not for me :( The cookies and cupcakes from Asian Bake were so tempting!! There were cute and pretty decorated Gingerbread man cookies and cupcakes, I contemplated real hard whether to buy them or not, which i did not in the end. It's okay, I shall try them the next time.. Did not manage to get any Japanese Snacks from the shop too. empty handed..
While heading to Barcook Bakery for bread before we leave for Bugis, we spotted beautiful teddy bears on display!! and took many pictures of them, the bears are displayed exclusively to a theme and each set costs a bomb!! If only I were rich.. haha, joking lah. anyway, they are pleasing to the eye, so we took many pictures of them. Then, off to Barcook for bread!! Love the bread from there, haven tried every single bread from there though. I have only tried the Raisin Cream Cheese, Char Siew bun, Cheese Bun, Chocolate banana bun and sweet potato bun. and all are nice!!

Next stop: Bugis Street! Arrived at Bugis at around 1.17pm and chiong-ed to Bugis Street for Christmas shopping!! Walked around for about 3 hours and we saw lotsa chio clothes!! We were so hesitant in buying the maxi dress that we saw in so many shops. Our worries are that it might be too long for us, as we are midgets or that we would look weird in it. haha. We got the same maxi dress in the end, haha. And we were so anxious to put it on that we went to Bugis Junction to change. lol.

Settled down at JCO donuts for shared yoghurt, we had 3 different toppings- Nata de coco, crispy chocolate cereal and oreo! the yoghurt was good with the toppings as well, we wanted strawberries initially but they were not available :( there was a man who lost his luggage and B wanted to help him out so much. lol. Wondered around Bugis Junction for a while after our yoghurt and took pictures with the cute Christmas Stitch!

Strolled around further to Illuma for a bit before going back to Bugis for light dinner at Soup Spoon! Where we took pictures with Harry Potter movie posters. haha. It was shared mushroom soup then! hehe. the soup was so rich and creamy! Not to mention it was so healthy too!! Took the train home together and it marks the end of our day out together. :))
