Jie's 21st Birthday Part II!

Heyo, haven got the time to and mood to blog hence the long hiatus. Okay, I've dragged it long enough, gotta finish the post before new year comes... hehe. Okay. As it was a Sunday, I had driving lesson! We did not have plans to go out because my parents had their own commitments, so, it was stay home Sunday. After my driving lesson, i decided to give her a surprise by getting her a bouquet of flower and a card. I always thought that 21st birthday is a major milestone, and a presenting a bouquet of flower would be so apt!! :)) However, the surprise wan't really successful cause we happened to meet outside the house instead of in it. It was totally unexpected, so i just gave her the flowers first and ended up writing the card later. LOL. Glad that she liked the flowers :) We spent the rest of the day at home rushing assignments and she studied for her test. 

 Followed by cake cutting session at night when most of our relatives were present. The banana chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate is finally gonna be eaten!! Was really in a dilemma in choosing the cake cos all the flavours from there look good. There are 3 types of cakes available: All chocolate, Chocolate banana and Chocolate Rum & Cherry. All the flavours look and seemed delicious... Decided on the chocolate banana after asking her indirectly using the cooking games on fb :p. Initial plan was to cut the cake in the morning/ afternoon, however, due to procrastination, we cut the cake at night with everyone!! 
Jie was so excited in trying the cake! And with so many relatives celebrating her birthday.. Everyone sang her birthday song and she received red packets as well.. And the cake was so yummy! Love it! The final surprise was by my younger sister! She got 2 tubs of cookies for my sister, and also a book that she always wanted. It was so rare and uncommon for my younger sister to buy gifts. hehe, hence, we were pretty shocked. Of course, Jie likes the gifts from my mei mei too!! So, this is how my Sister's 21st birthday celebration was! The way she wants and likes :))
