besties foreva. geraldine&chewhui: My Valentine 2011

Hello! How time flies! It's been 8 days since Valentine's Day, hehe, i know its a lil late but i'm still gonna blog about my 14 Feb 2011. Since I do not have a Valentine, my day was spent with friends and family <3!
My first destination for that day was my attachment centre! Went to collect my guidebook, and to pass the Thank You gift for my mentor!! She was so fierce to the children, so much that it frightened me too. stayed around for a while before she was free to speak to my friends and I. To my surprise, she was so sweet!! She prepared Valentine's gift for all of us. Tell me which other mentor does that?! haha, happily accepted the gift and also presented mine to her. Glad that she liked that gift! lol.
Cabbed down to school as we were running late for our field trip. Unfortunately, my class was assigned to visit a centre at Seng Kang.. OMG, thats so far away!! BTW, less than half of the class of present cos this 'learning journey' is totally redundant. haha, pathetic... Anyway, so the ten(?) of us got the whole 30+ seater bus to ourselves. pure blissfulness! My clique and i were so high on our way to the far away east side of SG.

Return trip was kinda quiet as we were a lil worn out from the trip. Was dismissed early on that day and went for an impromptu ice cream trip with Gabby and Aisha!! Off we went to Daily Scoop!!
Both G and A had ice cream with waffle while I had a single scoop ice cream to myself. and they both said that I'm being negative. A single eating single scoop ice cream on Valentine's Day. suits me to the tee!! haha. G had Hazelnut Haven while A had Durian ice cream, I had mint ice cream. Ice cream was yummy as usual, and we had causal talks which was quite enjoyable and comfortable.

We splitted up after having our ice cream fix. Walked a few stops and waited for forever for my lil sis to come. Bused down to Coronation Plaza for Mommy's birthday dinner!! We went to a vegetarian restaurant as Mommy love vegetarian dishes. haha. apparently the restaurant was really popular, it was quite crowded with patrons when we arrived there. Luckily jie called to reserve a table for us in advance. Honestly, the food was FABULOUS!! if you thought that vegetarian dishes are really boring and they only revolve around vegetables, you are so wrong!! the dishes were flavourful and savory! the mocked meat was delicious! I liked all the dishes which were ordered on that day!! We had Suckling Pig, stir-fry mushrooms, olive vegetable fried rice, broccoli and kang kong. Glad that mommy likes them too! haha. Home for cake and that's the end of my Valentine's Day 2011!
