My sister's 18th at Kyushu Nihon Ryori

Hi! haven been too free to update, and my stomach's killing me :(. Diploma plus classes is starting next week!!   so here goes.
My family decided to have dinner at the Japanese Restaurant just opposite the estate to celebrate my sister's 18th Birthday. Kyushu Nihon Ryori, as recommended by my elder sis. It is a shop house located at Hong Leong Shopping Centre. the interior environment was rather homely and cosy. Perfect place for chilling out and causal dinner dates :) It was a really good day for me, as I just completed my last paper and went out with my friends earlier that day. Got in contact with jie all the while to prepare mei's surprise bday gift. when I reached there, jie told me that mei was mad at her cause she told mei that we did not prepare her a bday gift. haha... it was quite obvious by the time i reached as I was carrying the gift in my hands. haha. The silly girl cheered up immediately after she was presented the gift.. Thank goodness that she liked the gift as she has really high demands for everything.
Process of receiving the gift.. haha
After gift presentation, it was time for FOOD!! Our food for the first round, we ordered a second round later which we totally regretted it. haha. We ordered a beef set was well, which was not photographed. The food was quite decent, my family was quite satisfied with it. Especially the wine!! The plum wine was damn good!! Really unique and nice, unfortunately that was the last bottle available.
Our remains

For our second round of orders, we ordered some light food which were not really amazing. Not to mention that they took a longgggggggg time to be served.. We had some brinjal thingy which was really awful, the brinjal was icy cold and we did not enjoy it. The yakitori was the best, it took 50 minutes to be served!! We almost thought that our order was forgotten. -.- when the yakitoris arrived, we took shitloads of photos of it as it was the "legendary yakitori".. The 2 plates took 50 minutes to come!! Fortunately, the Yakitoris were quite tasty, for it would not be worth the wait!!

Pictures we took during the wait for the Yakitoris!!

At home, we had cake cutting ceremony to end the tiring but fulfilling day!!
