Nex Mall @ Serangoon!

Heyo! Finally here to blog about something I had wanted to post a long time ago.... Outing to Nex Mall with Shi Yun! hehe, I don't live near the area, so, dated SY to be my guide. We met on a Friday after school, where both of us ended class at the about the same time. i was really worried that our trip would be cancelled last minutes due to unseen circumstances, fortunately it wasn't :) Thus, we embarked on the long journey to our destination: Serangoon! Bus-> EW line ->Transferred to NE line and finally -> SERANGOON!! chatted about everything during the long ride. ^^
The mall was really big and spacious!! With a wide array of shops, especially F&B outlets! Hence, our first stop was to fill up our tummies! walked to the Japan Corner to look for some eats.. and we found Green Pumpkin! A Japanese Bakery by RE&S. Got some sushis as well since we were at the Japanese Street. Settled at Food Republic to eat our food..
The in-house specialty: Green Pumpkin Bun. It is a unique bun with sweet tasting green exterior and generous chunks of pumpkin in the inside! Absolutely delicious! I have always thought that pumpkins tasted disgusting in the past, however, due to the influence of my mommy, I grew to like them!! hehe. Pumpkins are FANTASTIC!! Next: White Cheese Bun! The delightful cheese bun is white on the outside with savory cheese in the inside. The bun is soft and light, combined with the cheese that adds flavour to it. nice!! And the last bun we got was the red bean paste bread. In between the attractive browned surfaces of the bun wrapped an abundant amount of red bean paste filling. The filling was smooth and not-too-sweet to the taste buds. We liked it as well. hehe.

Went upstairs to the Sky Garden for MORE CAMWHORING!! XDD

The day ended with sunset viewing and some self-timer shots.. We enjoyed our day and promised to meet up again soon! haha, can't wait to visit NEX mall again!! :))
