Gabby's 19th!

Celebrated Gabby's 19th birthday at the beginning of March! (I know right? Overdue TTM) Aisha and I were the only ones who were free amongst our clique to celebrate her birthday. Despite that, the 3 of us had a good time! :)) 

Didn't know what to get for Gabby! Relied on Aisha to choose the gifts while I came up with the idea of decorating a cake for her. Met up with A at Somerset to get the gifts and cake before meeting G at Plaza Singapura. I felt so apologetic to A cause I arrived late and she had to choose the gifts on her own. *sorry* rushed to 313 as soon as i alighted the bus and due to my forgetfulness, i couldn't locate the Icing Room. Had to call A for help again :p Anyways, we headed to the Icing Room and started our making our customized cake! As both of us were first timers in decorating cake at the Icing Room, we were so lost and didn't know what was going to happen. We were both super excited when we received the tray with the cake with decorating tools! So here we go! But then, we were vexed about thinking of ideas to decorate the cake. 

However, due to time constrain we could only proceed without further ado.. A did come up with an idea of drawing a garden with G in it. haha, and we followed the plan. haha. The process of decorating the cake! We were the only ones decorating the cake at that time, thus it was quite comfortable since we were able to vocalize our thoughts openly and decorate without worrying people laughing at our drawing. We had fun!! We had home made cards for the birthday girl as well! 

Trained to Dhoby Ghaut thereafter, to give our bday girl a surprise! Planned to give G a surprise when she arrived but due to some misunderstanding in communication with A, the plan FAILED!! but it's okay, G was still surprised that we had presents and a cake for her. haha. It was lunch at Burger King's! 

Caught up with each other as we talked over lunch. Broke my diet taboo of eating fired food and consumed the WHOLE packet of medium French fries. Overwhelmed with happiness for Gabby :p
Gabby opened the cake box cause she was so excited to see the cake. haha..

After lunch was movie marathon!! Took some pictures outside the theater before the movie started. Something embarrassing happened. LOL. Caught 2 movies that day: True Grit and Gnomeo and Juliet! All of us preferred the latter one though. The movie was so cute! haha..

Had cake cutting ceremony after our movies at Kopitiam. Sang Gabby a birthday song and she proceeded to cut the cake. Was quite apprehensive of eating the cake at first as Cynthia mentioned that the cake tasted terrible. But after trying, I think it wasn't so horrible lah, it was still edible. Cynthia is a picky eater, thats why. haha. Splitted up after that!! Great to know that Gabby likes the gifts that we got for her and that she enjoyed her day :))
