Sentosa Getaway with Cynthia!

Went for a short getaway with Cynthia deary last month! It was at Sentosa for 1 whole day of picnic and play! Planned it a while ago during our holiday module, and I was sure glad that we were really gonna implement it!! (haha, i had too much of empty promises) 

We planned to prepare our own food there as we are low on budget :) Homemade food, but still, i spent a bomb on the ingredients. lol. So, these are the food that we got: From Cynthia- Spicy dried shrimp fried rice with Chinese sausage and French beans, Homemade fruit jam bread, biscuits, sweets and from me: Homemade Chicken Burritos, Rice Krispies treat, curry bread.

Met up with Cynthia at about 11.30am and we headed for the Silosa Beach for our picnic Part 1! It was our breakfast as well. It was quite pleasant as the beach was pretty empty, there were more foreigners compared to locals. We had fun watching pretty beach babes and loving couples on the beach as we enjoy the food we brought.

Then a situation occurred!! One of thia's slippers broke, the strap come out. She had to walk barefooted for a while before we went to hunt a new pair of slippers for her. She got a pair of Kids size slippers from Billa Bong at last. Yes, Kids size for her tiny feet! It was at a cheaper price, why not?

Continued to walk around for some sight seeing before making our way for Luge and Sky Ride!! We got a deal package for the rides: just $20 for 3 rides ( 3 Luges, 3 Sky rides) It was such a steal! Before our rides, we went to put our things in the locker. Btw, the lockers suck- all they have were faulty lockers that 'ate' our money. Had to spend about $4 before we got a locker which was fine. Proceeded for our Sky ride and Luge! Pictures of our chop from the Luge! 

Proceeded to the Merlion place after our ride! For some reasons, time passed really quickly!! and we were soon hungry again... Settled down at the table outside Delifrance for our 2nd picnic when we were chased away by the staff :p lol. We had no choice but to shift to the pavilion nearby, haha.. That was a better choice, haha..  Picnic part 3 and chatting session in the pavilion! Pictures after lunch at the Merlion shop and the surroundings. Then for our Sky ride 2!! We bought the picture too! haha... so tourist-sy! Time check: 03:47PM

Attempted to walk to Underwater World when we got lost! I'm really poor at Geography, we lost our way despite having a map :(( But we found the way eventually thanks to Thia!! haha.. but she was implicated by me to walk a really LONG distance to the Underwater World when we could have taken a bus. teehee.. However, we discovered that we could not afford the entrance fee :O haha, wasted trip eh? Nevertheless, some pictures there before we took a bus back. haha. Time check: 05:46PM

Took the Lunge ride down and sky ride up and Luge down again before we proceeded to Resorts World!! It was my first time there and boy, i was mad excited!! I was really happy cos I really wanted to try the popcorn!! Garrette popcorn!! hehe!! Time check: 06:19PM

Pictures and pictures in the RW store and the surroundings! Went to get the popcorn then walked around in Hersey's! I was so fascinated by the huge variety of chocolates, candies and merchandises in there. Took pictures with the Hersey's mascot too! So cute!!

Then to Candylicious! Amazing range of goods in there too.. Went to look at the gates of the Universal Studio too since we could not enter :( and after that we went down to the forum where the casino is located. Just to see see and walk walk. haha. Thia wanted very much to dine at Chili's in RW, but due to our lack of cash....... :(( Took the free bus to Vivo City from the forum!! Had Yigloo yoghurt instead to satisfy our sweet carvings!! Walked around for a while and bused home together after that!! Time check: 09:40PM

I really enjoyed the trip with Thia despite being charred by the sun at the end of the day, haha... It was an awesome day and I've never dreamed that I could actually do this with a friend. :)) Staying together for 10 hours out of 24 hours. and not getting bored of each other. It was truly an unforgettable experience for me.. I love Thia! <3!!
