Selfish Gene Cafe

Hello!! Managed to check out another cafe with my sister!! It's Selfish Gene Cafe. Jie and I went there just for afternoon tea. The cafe was pleasant and cozy, great for chilling out and for some quiet time.  
As we arrived late in the afternoon, many items were such as the Roasted Tomato soup and Mushroom sandwich were already sold out. ): 
In the end we got Scrambled eggs on Brioche and Tuna Mayo Sandwich.

The tuna sandwich was quite simple and satisfying. Tuna mayo, arugula, tomato on warm ciabatta bread with a side of mesclun salad.

Scrambled eggs & Brioche was goood!! I adore the super thick slice of brioche very very much!! The brioche was nicely toasted, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside moreover it tasted just sooo buttery and fragrant!! Completed with a side of mesclun salad as well.

Would want to return to the cafe to try the soup, mushroom toast, The Valarie, desserts, such as the banana cake as well as their coffee :)

Ahh!! Back into reality!! I'm gonna host the morning assembly tomorrow and I'm feeling super nervous about it.. I'll experience stage fright for sure, plus i'll talk really quickly when I'm nervous so the children will probably have difficulties understanding my language, lol. Need to be well prepared, can't embarrass myself in front of all the children and teachers!! All the best to myself!! :p
