Meet up with Gabby

Met up with Gabby about a month ago at town for lunch and movie!! We decided to give Antoinette a try!! I toook ages to decide what I wanted because I', indecisive like that :p Well it was also because everything sounded delicious in the menu.. teehee. Final orders, I had Egg with sauteed mushrooms and onions while Gabby had Savory Blinis with sausage.
We were so lucky, we did not wait at all to be seated despite visiting on a weekend. The cafe was quite small but it was so well decorated!! Love the pretty interior of the cafe, which is more of a Victorian (western or whatever you call it) decorating. The sofa seats were a tad low for me, who is a shortie.. LOL

 It did not take long for our food to arrive as we caught up a bit with each other... So, Here's mine!!

I really enjoyed my order!! It was simplicity at it's best, there were nothing special about the ingredients, not to mention that the dish was extravagantly priced, however, everything just tasted so good. i love it!!

Gabby liked her dish too.. The pancakes were quite tasteless in my opinion though. lol. She managed to clear her plate with some struggle nonetheless.

After lunch, we went for desserts at Maison Kayser!! I had the meringue tart. Deliciously tarty I would say, the sourness of the lemon curd would make some cringe. I happen to enjoy sour food, so I'm good with it :)

 Not forgetting to get some delightful artisan breads before heading to the movies!! We caught TED!!

The movie was quite good. had quite a good laugh from it. hehe. Anyways, it was an absolutely enjoyable day for us! I can't wait till our next meeting!! :))

I miss stay-home-Saturdays so much!! Today is finally a stay-home Saturday for me and I manged to colour some rice for my shakers for performance day.  The Miss-procrastinate in me is back, so i'm so happy that I managed to do something today.  But, I gotta leave house now for a food date with jie jie!! Tata~~
